[1.05b1] [Minor] Leader picture error on faction demand

Post by Malevolence »

Per image, Secretary's picture is missing from demand. Leader, Isaac Ibrahim, was assigned as Secretary.

I note, however, I was well on my way to eliminating the political faction making the demand. I believe their leader was terminated already.

Is it possible leader photos in such demands do not reference the canonical names of the leaders referenced in "From"?

Maybe the "photo" reference was looking for a dead faction leader?

That's all guesstimation.

Device is Windows 10 Pro 64bit, version 2004 (v19041.421), Intel i7-1065G7 1.30Ghz, 16GB RAM. It is a Surface Pro 7, connected to 2560x1600 display monitor via USB-C. Intel Iris Plus integrated graphics.

For reference, Game Build v 1.05-beta1; Scenario Build 1.05-beta1; Last Game Build used 1.05-beta1; Scenario Version Number #53.

Well, game state that Isaac Ibrahim is not only your secretary but leader of EP party. Was it correct and so you'd killed your own secretary? Or you killed some random dude and game is wrong about secretary being your faction leader?

The secretary was unaffiliated. The faction leader had been in another cabinet job, but was relieved first and then terminated.

As an aside, in order to remove a faction's influence from the player's regime, it is important to drive their relation as far down as possible, as quickly as possible. Better to concentrate all the negative consequences quickly and then move forward.

Yes, single all-mighty faction is sound so good and so tempting ... until you will get crisis of Corruption [;)]

If you got a save game where I can see this decision, or recreate it... or maybe give me a round number of the files you already sent? would be helpful.

Best wishes,
Vic

I'm not sure about a specific round. I can only point to the circumstances I outlined in the OP.
