Ski Infantry ICON

Noticed that the Ski Infantry ICON does not seem to be working. In the example below Ski Infantry (in the Finland 1941) scenario are shown as normal infantry instead of ski infantry. However, the ski infantry ICON appears correctly in the OOB screen. In the editor the ski ICON is replaced by the infantry ICON.

I’ve tested this with several scenarios and ICON sets, including the stock TOAW IV set, and the results are always the same.

Can anyone else duplicate this problem?

As far as I remember the sky icon only show up when the unit is on a snowy hex. Otherwise it shows like common infantry.

Can attest, ski troops change to infantry icon when out of snow.

Learned something new today, thank you.

I’m still curious why the ski icon doesn’t show in the force editor. Seems that without showing the ski icon it would be difficult to build the desired formation.
