Issue with creating a New Thread.

It looks like I can reply / respond to an existing thread however when I try to create a New Thread I get the following error message:

"You are not allowed to post links, emails or phone numbers for 7 days from the date of your tenth post".

I've only responded to one existing thread and have never posted anything else. Is there some sort of issue with my profile?
