Impulse #3 (Axis)

Debark
MIL China Sea ->Haichow

Japan attacks hex 87,3135 (East Kweiyang). HQI (Yamamoto) is included in the attack but does not provide any HQ support. One LND2 provides 1 point in ground support making the attack 30:1 (5:1). Will China select assault, or blitz?

Germany makes two attacks on the west front. The attack on hex 52,31 (west Brussels) is currently 57:9. Germany will select combat table and if it is blits there will be +1 on the die roll due to the panzers.

The second attack is on hex 55,32 (west Metz). The odds is right now 31:6. Two bombers will provide 5 points in ground support making it 36:6. And, as above, if Germany decides to go for blitz then there will be +1 on the die roll.

Will France fly any defensive ground support? Germany has two FTR2, and one FTR3, that can reach the northern attack. To the southern attack there is one FTR2 within reach. Germany also has one 3 strength AA that can fire on any French support to the southern attack.

I'll do the German attacks while I wait for an answer on this.

The first attack is good. Although it would have been equally good if the fractional odds had failed, and a one had been rolled, because the French had no possibility to retreat here.

Japan takes the combat hex, and China suffers one unit loss. Is it ok with the MIL as loss? Can go back and change it to the INF if so desired.

A Boston is sent to Rotterdam. The Germans have a 4-strength fighter in Brussels they can intercept with. The CW have a 4 and a 5 fighter in Antwerp they can counter with. What do the Germans want to do?

Gemany send up the FTR2. It will target the bomber, if possible. And return to the hex it flew from, if it survives.
