looks like your monitor or graphics card may be left justifying the screen during replay.

Do you have a Nvidia graphics Card?

Thanks ... Yes I think I have GeForce GTX1650

Last setting tried was "C:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition ORIGINAL\Beta2\War in the Pacific Admiral Edition.exe" -px3440 -py1440 -nofire -dd_sw

this loaded better the other loads were to the right of the screen this was more central but could not click any of the game menu buttons??

The game may be scaling the replay. I’m not sure how to center that.

If you right click on your desktop and from the dropdown choose Nvidia Control panel.

Then try the Size Tab to see it will fix the overscan.

Try to fit by checking the box I've shown circled below.

Thanks for this alas it made no difference - also tried desk top resizing - no joy.

What about if I try the scaling as FS and No scaling??

You can see the game is slightly to the right of the screen even on opening, this is a clue i think to the problem. One of the switches did make it come in the middle but none of the buttons then worked, so could not even get to the replay.

Did you remember to go back and put a -f or a -w in your command line?

Thank you very much for your help. I tried both the settings -r and -w withith and without the -deepColor as well. I'm sorry but nothing works. I have attached another screenshot of the typical screen I'm getting no matter what the settings.

still no joy

Part of the problem could be that you left the game to run on CPU1, which Windows uses and interrupts other programs to do its thing.

Try adding -SingleCpuOrders -cpu3

Try pxf, and pyf instead of px/py. It also behaved weirdly on my new laptop without fs.

The combat animations are always of lower resolution so I imagine that results in a smaller screen too.

Did you say that the resolution you are using is one of the native resolutions for your monitor? Sometimes the monitor just will not handle the forced resolution that you set for the video card.

Thanks for the input. I'm using only one of the resolutions suggested by the computer. this is actualy the maximum one. The problem is the whole game not just the combat replay is squeezed into a tiny area.

I am happy with any other suggestions put forward. Maybe I won't get the full screen but I would like it's only 2 or 3 times bigger than it is.
