Beta 9U83 night move

Playing around with the beta 9U83 in the 1944 campaign with the Allies, I have found that German planes can intercept Allied fleets that are making a night movement. I have also noticed that allied fleets with an aircraft carrier cannot make a night move. According to the manual I think this is all wrong. I'm right?

CV fleets can't use night moves that is correct.

I just checked the 1944 scenario....

2 Allied fleets moved to shore on night missions
1 on day mission

Only the day mission fleet can be attacked.

Double check please.
