Campaign not showing up

Had the game files corrupted and reloaded the initial version of the game. Installed in C/program files86/Matrix games/War Plan, and the campaign files show up in Documents/My Games but when I start the game no campaign files are shown, the message is "No Files".

Anybody have any ideas what is going on?

Uninstall....

Delete the C/program files86/Matrix games/War Plan folder if it is there.

Go here...
C:\Users\"your user name"\Documents\My Games\WarPlan

Grab your save games, options.dat, playerData.dat

Delete that WarPlan folder.

Reinstall the game.....
put back the save games and 2 files.

If this fails you very likely have some security software blocking the game somehow.

What is totally weird is I have other games with campaigns in the appropriate folders, the Document/My Games/"Game Name" and they don't show up when I examine the folder using Explorer but they are there when I start the game(OOB, SC Wie & WaW, PzC2)

Same folder for WP and the campaigns are there but "No Files" when I start the game.

So I go get a custom, Scorched Earth and wouldn't you know it, there it is and I start playing.

Al, I already, deleted, uninstalled numerous times the WP base game and updates, very strange the campaigns sometime show up, sometimes the file is empty, like the other games, but don't show up for the game menu to select.

This all started when I lost my desk top short cuts to activate each game and had to reinstall all the games to get them to work.

Like maybe I got a virus! Now everything is working properly except WP.

Search -> File Explorer -> ENTER -> View -> Options -> View -> then you will see all the files that are hidden. You can hide or show them from here.

Do you have security on your computer? That can screw it up.
You could disable the AV and security and unintall reinstall again.

Are you using Steam or Matrix?

Yeah, I already thought that somehow the files were hidden, but that wasn't it. I'm using Matrix editions and all I'm running is Windows Defender.

Don't worry about it Al, you have more important things, I'll figure it out. I just thought someone may have encountered this problem before and I could use the shortcut.

Very odd problem. Last thing you can do is download the installer again. It might be messed up.
