NOTE: There is also a version called FITE version 5.0 but I am not sure what that one is exactly and lastly the game ships with FITE2 version 1.4.

FitE v5 is the predecessor of FitE2. It is a bit less intimidating and more fun (I think) than FitE2, and I call v5 FitE1

GenJCL is playing that one w/ me, I call it Fite1

it is the AAR near cptflam's AAR of his game his FitE2

and the one chet and I are doing is AAR of FitE2 that is using ver 1.8 of FitE2, and that is the one that anyone can check it out if they have v1.8 and take a spin and see it looks at Soviets turn 29.

It's all confusing as heck but what about TOAW isn't?

It (v5.0) seems to be more well documented than 1.9, or perhaps they are assuming you know about 5.0.
