Turn 57. Axis. October 14, 1941. China. End of Turn.
1. Paotow in the north was captured.
2. Destroyed a Chinese army in the north and a Chinese corps in the center 2-hexes directly east of Sian.
3. Reinforcements and upgrades were also made to a number of Japanese corps and armies.
4. Not wanting to anger the CCP, I don't see any reason to push the lines any further.
5. It looks like the war in China for the Japanese is about to become one of attrition and, hopefully, stalemate.

Turn 57. Axis. October 14, 1941. Libya & Greece. Start of Turn.
1. Libya is lost.
2. The British 8th army managed to destroy the Italian garrison in Tripoli but was unable to occupy the city.
3. However, the RN Med fleet set up a blockade around Tripoli to prevent the axis if they were so inclined from rushing reinforcements via transport into the now open city.
4. The German army and (not shown) corps in Greece were operational moved to the Eastern Front.

Turn 57. Axis. October 14, 1941. East Africa. End of Turn.
1. The partially hidden RSA corps advancing from the southeast on Gondar was mauled and forced to retreat.
2. The RSA corps was knocked down to 2-steps.
3. I'm finding East Africa a most interesting low-intensity theather.

Turn 57. Axis. October 14, 1941. Arctic Front. End of Turn.
1. This front also fairly stagnant, which I thing is by choice by both sides.
2. There's just so much more going on and at stake a bit further to the south.

Turn 57. Axis. October 14, 1941. The Eastern Front. Start of Turn.
1. An old Russian peasant, who was old even during the first world war, and is glad to be free of communist rule commented on the fact that the grubs had buried themselves very deep this year.
2. For those who didn't understand, this is an indication of a harsh winter, perhaps the harshes in many decades, is soon to come.
3. Snow in central and northern Russia in mid October.

Turn 57. Axis. October 14, 1941. The Eastern Front. End of Turn.
1. The decision has been made that to halt the drive on Moscow for the winter and begin preparing winter positions.
2. This also includes reinforcement and upgrade of units where possible.
3. Also, numerous axis units were operational moved into Army Group Center, which is in front of Moscow, and Army Group South, surprising working in the south around Stalingrad and Rostov.
4. Though many units are digging in and preparing their winter positions, this didn't stop limited offensive operations where they made sense.
5. Tula, Krasnador and Salsk were capture this turn.

Turn 57. Axis. October 14, 1941. Production.
1. Germany built an artillery unit and garrison this turn.
2. No additional builds by any of the axis.
3. There just isn't enough MPPs to go around for everything I'd like to do!

Be sure to save up around 1,000 MPPs for the German heavy tanks, which in vanilla become available on Jan 1, 1942.

Thanks! My inexperience with this game is very likely to manifest over the next two turns when Japan goes to war with the west. Oh well ... live and learn. But most importantly have fun!ORIGINAL: Elessar2

1. Couldn't knock off any more steps from the RSA corps that is down to 2-steps.
2. Looks like for now that the CW is pulling back to the defensive in East Africa.
