Placing units with events?

Post by 76mm »

I'm playing around with the scenario editor and can't see how to place a unit with an event...I'm pretty sure it's possible, and I used to know how to do it, but now I forget. There are not event effects for placing units, but IIRC there is some indirect way to do it?

Any event can be used to place a unit. It is set in the deployment editor. Instead of Turn# you choose Event# for the entry criteria.
Grab them by the balls. Their hearts and minds will follow.

Plus, you can set several versions of deployed units, and players are free to choose where they want them to appear.
