US Civil War using Newdawn3

Hello - I am trying to play the classic fictional scenario US Civil War but updated with Newdawn master file. I keep getting issues on the event line 46 and 45. I have tried some youtube and tried to create this scenario from scratch but not having and luck. Does anyone have any suggestions?

What event number, and what line? Assuming you haven't changed the event coding, I may be able to help with that.

I get error in Check command in event 46 on line 18, 25 and event 45 line 5.

Haven't sat down with the code yet, but from memory I had some similar problems with those events, when making the recent 12 pack of scenarios. It has to do with Officers. If you've made the game from scratch, there is currently no officers. Event 45 looks for officers, and starts with the 1st one. Without any officers there will be no first one, hence the first error.

I can't remember off hand what event 46 does, but it is similar.

The solution I made was to make a new Dummy officer, and then to add an event (44 if I recall correctly) that makes the dummy officer not present in the officers that can be selected by the players, which it would otherwise have been.
