Initial govt crew choice, reverse engineering/stealing tech

Hello! I have some suggestions.

a)I'd like to have a choice to put in the guys in charge in positions that suit for me and them and have them not be opposing my initial government ethics choicesat game start.

I tend to start with meritocracy-commerce-mind, but the game very often throws at me strong autocratic, fist or else leaders, making the game more difficult than it should be imho. I can reload the lastplanetgenerated.se of course, to get a fresh random roll, but what if my initial society and ethics choices would have an impact on the government in the first place?

I imagine having an initial pool of guys/gals from which the superior commander then can choose where to work at.



b) If I fight against an enemy who has superior tech, say combat armour, against my naked militia and I win the battle, shouldn't I be able to get a discovery bonus at least, outright discover it if a unit surrenders wearing it, or a research bonus if I already have it discovered? I do not think this is implemented, but all modern warfare strongly focuses on keeping/getting an edge over the opponents tech. Scavenger team embedded units should generate this automatically.



c) I suggest a secret service strat card which allows you to steal/protect technologies from other regimes. Farmers could provide a farming yield bonus that boosts cross-fertilization of 1-5 points, majors could have better tech than you, AI minors could give walker insights, etc.



d) Heart profile. Why isn't it a <3 heart symbol?


e) Staff council: If I researched and modelled,say, light tanks, shouldn't it be able to have the option of light tank armies operationalizion right away? This should be valid for all pure one model armies right away, like pure infantry/artillery/tank etc. I think the operationalization mechanism is overly complicated. We have tanks? Let's make an army of it! I do not need to discover it, just OP it.
"Make sure that you have the Profile that allows these Stratagems to be generated." I hate that sentence. The raze/pillage strat cards should be available for free. It's a war, after all.


f) Mouseover. I suggest a lot more mouseover information available on strat cards etc., like, which ability roll is involved/boosted on "shadow spy" or on unit feat strat cards like propaganda truck etc.


g)On events, I like to know the exact odds every time, or never at all. A 2d100% isn't really helpful, nor is a 143% difficulty at 1d100 +5% chance of my governor. I often go with the bonus to a profile disregarding the outcome anyway.

h) Interior council: Does it have an impact on tax collected, quality of recruits when playing the recruit cards? It should have, and on administrative strain reduction also.
