Turn 89. Axis. January 15, 1943. The Marshalls. End of Turn.

1. Allies knock 1-step off of the SNLF fighting for Kwajalein.
2. Able to reinforce 1-step back up to 4.
3. Don't expect to hold much longer.

If you still had all of your carriers you could hit him here where his air groups are down a bit and likely low on supply as well. Durned shame you lost all of your CVs since the western Allies will be funneling all of their MPPs into hitting Germany hard next year, leaving Japan to dominate the Pacific.

When taking Sumatra & Java, all of your land units need to attack Batavia only, since it is the capital and will flip both islands and thus all hexes (all oil wells!) upon conquest.

Good news: Gorky should drop below 5 supply soon if it hasn't already, which means the Moscow area is in deep doggy-doo-doo for the Russkies. [;)]

1. Got a message when I tried to download my latest turn that I needed to upgrade.
2. No problem, I see that 1.08 is out, downloaded and installed that version.
3. Still problem? Is 1.08.01 a beta version?

Turn 91. Axis. February 12, 1943. Rhodes/Med. End of Turn.

1. Rhodes is lost. [:(]
2. The isolated Italian garrison held far longer than I'd thought possible.

Turn 91. Axis. February 12, 1943. Battle of the Atlantic. Murmansk Convoys.

1. German U-boats sink 54 MPPs headed to Russia.
2. RN sinks U-81. [:(]
3. How "easily" the RN was able sink U-81 gives me concern. I'm afraid the Battle of the Atlantic may be shifting to the allies in such a way that German U-boats may become obsolete.

2. The lost step was promptly reinforced back to bring the unit back up to 4-steps.
