Hi Hubert/Bill

Can you clarify the Tournament rule?

I am assuming

No Diplo on Majors
No pre 41 invasion of Russia

Also how does the time clock rule work.

The like in the email takes you to the Matrix site but it shows a 404 error page not found.

Thanks
Mike

Sorry this happened to you as well, please make sure you grab the correct 1939-45 Race to Victory.dat file when you do this from the DAT subfolder as I described to Amadeus.
I think I copied a 1939 world at war.dat file and renamed it.
We are at turn 7 now.
Is it possible to replace the .dat file for the ongoing games (challange ID 212633 for both games)?
Are there any differences between Race to Victory and World at war except the end date?

No rules as this is just a test of the system and how the game handles it. Thanks for the info on the link error I'll pass it along, and in terms of time clock, it is just set to 2 weeks for the mirrored games and then the next round starts after that.

I believe it is just the end date that is different so you should be ok here this time around.

Hi Hubert, sorry but this is not working fine and we still have the wrong campaign. How could we make a fine start now?

I had this error also from time to time in previous games, so I'm not sure if that is related to the .dat issue.
For me downloading the game again worked most of the times. Zooming and scrolling sometimes give me that error too.
If it happens only during replay then you can skip the replay.

If the problem can be reproduced (happens always when doing the same move) than maybe Hubert can look into this.

Hi Amadeus,

This is likely what Fafnir has described, if it is repeatable please let me know and I will definitely look into it.

OK, how to flip to 1939-45 Race to Victory or is it possible to start clean new.

Hi Gordon,

I'm sorry you are having problems with this. Where you are having an issue with a Tournament, these are all administered on the forums, so you need to ask in the relevant tourney thread on the forums
https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.a ... 2365533%3B

Kind Regards,

Then the local Builders Blew up the optic cable  leading to my neighborhood. This is now fixed after 30h.I still get no games on my games on MP. Can anyone help me.   [&:]

Hi GBoggon,

When you go to the PBEM++ Lobby, do you see a Tournament button in the bottom left hand corner of the PBEM++ Lobby screen?

Can you provide me with more detail here? Is this a consistent error on your end? Where does the error happen? e.g. at what point in playing the PBEM++ tournament game do you receive this error?

Mine was in the v1.07.01 sub directory if that matters

Ideally you want to match up with the correct version number dat file, but since this is just a test tournament it should be ok this time around.

there were no files in the v1.08.01 directory. i had only just upgraded to the 08.01 game version. Seems to be fine though - only a couple of turns in.

General comment on Strategic Command, World at War.

Is there a way to make the tournament a Germany/Italy/Japan vs Great Britain-France/USSR/USA-China (3v3) or Germany/Italy/Japan vs Great Britain/USSR/USA/China-France (3v4) game? I get overwhelmed trying to play all Axis or all Allies. It would also add realistic intrigue as all players will want to score as high as they can within the team (e.g. US may not be as generous to Great Britain if GB is earning more points).

Hi Doug,

Unfortunately it is not currently possible but something we are strongly considering for future games as true multi-multiplayer would definitely be great to have down the road.

I've tracked down the issue and it is unfortunately tournament specific if you are attempting to Save or Quit during your first game in a mirrored game when starting the game fresh.

Subsequent Saves or Quits in your mirrored games while in the same session of the game should be fine.

Apologies for this,
Hubert
