editor questions

Post by Rince »

Hi there,

every time I want to "create new battle" in the editor, I only get the max. map input mask, according to some experts I should also get a min. map coordinate input mask. Any suggestions?

after having created the map (the basic all green one) I want to transform the landscape. How exactly do you use the "do super tile" order?

I would like to make contact with anyone who has some experience in scenario building with KP.

thanks

You will only get a maximum hex size input as you are creating a whole new battle, including map. If you are creating a scenario from an existing battle you can define the hex coordinates.

There are editor tutorials and forum support for the editor available at

Chris is right. It depends on what you want to do. If you want to create a new scenario based upon an existing battle (ie: modifiy or create a smaller TAO or KP scenario - or create a new game based upon an existing map like chris did with the KP map for Wiking Wipeout), then you need the min and max hex coordinates. Follow Tutorial #1 over at the Run5 run site under the Scenario Editor link on the main menu.

If you want to create a whole new battle - like I am currently working on, then you only need the Max Hex Coordinates.

Both Chris and I are quite competent with the editor, we will provide support through its use on our discussion board at our website (Run5) at http://run5.wargamer.com

Whoosh!
Isn't that bizarre?
