The forum file upload allows... "gif/txt/jpg are supported"

The forum does not allow files with jpeg extensions.

JPG and JPEG are the same file type. This is a remnant of an old Microsoft and Apple issue going back before most posters here were born. DOS only allowed three letter extensions. Apple wanted to differentiate instead of being helpful to users. SSDD.

How about adding the JPEG extension?

Not to push my luck, but no argument from me if you add PNG too while you're in the settings. Party like it's 1999.

Mine is .jpg still it wont show up?
AND i ticked the box which says "Use my avatar as profile photo".
Needs to be customized down to details, OK!
One more thing, when the upload box tells you that the limit is 145 x 145 is that pixels or inches?

Edit: No this does not add up, i use pixels and set it to 145 as maximum and Irfanview determines the value on the height or width of the pic automatically for best proportions, the most sensible choice here, comparing the end result with the ones used here on the forum it´s one tiny little... thing only.
And now it starts to become a hassle, so be it.

At least i can compare it here immediately with the other ones here, geez!
One 24 Kb image file now when the limit is 750 kilobytes and it´s not giving me any parameters to adjust the image since Irfanview is one of the best free image\pic editors. To sit and adjust the pic with 1 percentage down now to make it fit it´s cranky limit, oh boy.
Well! You others managed to so i bet i´m the dumb one here. My bad. [;)]

Some forums image uploader rescales the avatar\profile image automatically, just saying. Yes, mine was 45 pixels too big so... DENIED. Wayne´s World reference.
