UNIT ID SYMBOLS

Korsun Pocket is a the second game using the award winning SSG Decisive Battles game engine. Korsun Pocket recreates the desperate German attempt to escape encirclement on the Russian Front early in 1944. The battle is a tense and exciting struggle, with neither side having a decisive advantage, as the Russians struggle to form the pocket, then try to resist successive German rescue efforts and last ditch attempts at breakout.

Is there a way I can create my own unit ID pictures? Can I use a bit map editor or is there a way built into the game to change these pictures?

Yes there is, it involved extracting the bmp files from the specific scenarios xcr file, editing that bmp file and then recompiling it. I will very shortly to do a tutorial on it over at http://Run5.wargamer.com

Ok I have added some notes about how to get to the bmps in each battle/scenario so that you can edit them. There is a thread in the Scenario Editor forums at Run5 which will describe how to do it.. all support requests should be posted over there and not here... thanks..
