AI toggle glitch

I was using the AI feature to control my Titans, and got a curious result. I had set all my Titans to AI-on. The view of the map I was shown remained that of the last Titan active. During another of my Titan's turns, I pressed 'A' to toggle the AI off. I gained control of the Titan at its next decision point, but the map remained focused on the original Titan, the red and black border indicating active Titan remained around the original Titan, and the status box in the lower right indicated that current Titan (not the original with map focus) was still under AI control (i.e. it showed "Bob : AI" or however it's formatted). Was able to regain complete control using F3, but it baffled me for a moment.
