Bug Report: 9U17 Retrofitting unit does not change to the latest year researched

In the 9U17 beta, I tried retrofitting the Italian Ground Attack Group with "Naval Air Training 1940", but instead of changing to that, it changed the assigned advancement to "Naval Air Training 1939", why has it not changed to the latest year researched as indicated?

You can advance and retroffit the tecxh of an unit at the same time. When you retrofit the tech, you get one with the same year level that the original one have. You will be able to advance it on subsequent turns.

Okay, thanks, but in that case, shouldn't it say "Naval Air training - 1939" in the Retrofit Air Group dialog, as that's what you're retrofitting to or at least indicate somehow that it won't go to 1940 immediately?

I think that the UI can only show you the max year advancement in each upgrade due engine limitations.

Okay, I guess it's not a big deal. I don't think anything about retrofitting is documented in the current manual, though - is this going to be added?

It will be included in the next official patch...hopefully this week.

The button is in the rules but it doesn't state the lower level. I will add it for next patch
