[ANSWERED] Ph-calculation

Post by sommer5587 »

What is the model for the base-Ph in the message log?
I was assuming the base-Ph is weapon specific and should equal the corresponding PoH in the weapon's database entry.

What I observe for a specific configuration, is that the Base-Ph equals the "Base-Ph adjusted for distance" and is even greater than the PoH given in the weapon's database entry.

Can you show an example of where you see the issue?

you mean Final PoH?

Back in CMANO days the AAW was calculated like this, ( assuming target A/C detected incoming missile )
Final PH = Weapon Base PH- max{distance adjustment; target speed adjustment} – [A/C Agility at current Altitude x Proficiency coefficient<1> x Weight adjustment coefficient x (1-damage%) x impact location coefficient] – Sea skimmer modifier

<1>. Ace = 1 , Veteran = 1, Regular = 0.8, Cadet = 0.5
Sir? Do you want to order a Kung Pao Chicken or a Kung Fu Chicken?

I mean base-pH.
Why is it not constant for a given weapon: x1 differs from x2 below:

12:01:35 - 12:01:35 - Gun (35mm Twin Oerlikon Burst [20 rnds, AHEAD, UAR-1021 Skyguard FCR]) is attacking Rafale B with a base-Ph of x1%.
12:01:34 - 12:01:34 - Gun (35mm Twin Oerlikon Burst [20 rnds, AHEAD, UAR-1021 Skyguard FCR]) is attacking Rafale B with a base-Ph of x2%.

We need a save game in order to see what the OP sees.
