Air execution lasts forever

Post by nukkxx5058 »

Hi, I'm new at WITW and I'm totally blown ! The game is great ! I didn't realize this before. I have it for long but never really played it until now.

My problem: I must have pressed one button because suddenly the air execution lasts forever. I can see each single mission unfolding one by one, hex by hex. See the the red line in the pic. It's very nice but ... far too long. I didn't have that the previous turns, I think. I have messages set to 0 but won't change. Any idea what I did to get this level of details and how to return to something faster ?

Thanks.

nukkxx5058,

My guess is that you pressed numeric key 5, 6, or 7, which causes the game to show an increasing level of detail for each air directive.

If that's the problem, the solution is to press "1", and that should speed it up.

Please let me know if that solves it or not.

Now it's back to normal. I'm not sure what was the problem because I don't think it was due to pressing accidentally 5 or 6 because I didn't have the combat window opening. Just the missions displaying one by one and hex by hex !! It was crazy !
Anyway, now I ensured I'm on combat message level "1" and the air phase went smoothly. Not sur what happend. But Thank you !

There's an air execution phase detail preference item (and top menu button) that allows you to show more detail. Maybe that got changed. There's a hotkey for it but I don't remember it offhand.

Ah ... that's the one !! Thanks Joel. It's shift-i. And the button has 4 planes on it.
I accidentally switched to max details. It's impressive BTW ! I wish I had time to play like this, had fun watching all the missions, was amazing but would tale eons to complete a game :-)
