No combat in the Red Sea (Axis 6, Allies 9)

No combat in the Arabian Sea (Axis 6, Allies 5)

Somehow this feels a bit like Déjà vu. [:D]

The troop transport is sunk (defence roll 1). Japan uses the three surprise points to put the D on the CP and sink it. The remaining A go on the CA. If aborted to what port will it go? If not aborted, will CW stay in the sea area? Japan Stay.

Abort to where it came from. Port adjacent to two sea areas in south.

I have teached them. When I ask them what you can get by whining, they will answer: nothing, except maybe time out.

But they keep trying...

If it's ok to change, I'd like to request that the CW CA return to a port other than the 2-front port Adelaide. I can edit file to move the unit - no need to re-do. maybe some minor 2-front port in New Zealand? Or Australia?

Is Auckland (major port) good? I think it can reach that port. Or Christchurch (SE)? Or Invercargill (S)?

Edit: I went with Auckland.

Impulse #12 (Axis)

No strategic bombing. No Ground Strikes.

Rail Moves:

Germany:
MTN Div Athens -> 25,53 (Karelia)
MIL Pskov->La Spezia
MIL Kiel->Toulon

Japan:
GARR (Taiyuan) -> Tientsin

Over to Germany for land moves.

Thanks - I think Auckland is probably ok. I just didn't want it to be in a major port that the U.S. is likely to operate a fleet from since RN/RAN is just an auxiliary force in the south pacific (typically) and I don't want a U.S. fleet to be operating with -1 speed.

Got it. There is always the possibility of an edit if need be. [:)]

Impulse #12 (Axis)

Land moves continued:

Japan:
INF -> Tianshui
MTN -> Sian
INF -> 72,130 (resource)

Italy:
X Corps liberate Djibouti.
HQI (Genoa) -> La Spezia

Germany attack hex 47,54 with 49 vs 14. Or +7- With +2 in HQ Support the odds are +9. No German ground support. USSR has a bomber available for ground support. Germany has one 5 strength FTR2 available for interception. Will USSR fly their bomber?

I think JJ is sleeping so I decide no ground support. If I calculated right, odds with ground support would be +6. Not worth of risk.
