How to select the resolution the game runs at?

Frank Hunter's Campaigns on the Danube is an operational study of the campaigns along the Danube in 1805 and 1809. Campaigns on the Danube's system focuses on trying to present the player with the same sort of decisions placed on their historical counterparts; how to feed an army and move that army according to a plan, all the while trying to fight a campaign. There is also an option to allow players to play out the battles with miniatures and input the results.

How to select the resolution the game runs at?

Post by OxfordGuy3 »

Hi - I've just bought the game, after reading that the game with the 3.05 patch supports up to 2560 x 1440 screen resolution, but I see no option to change the resolution nor to run the game full screen, so it just appears in a tiny window. I download version 3.05 of the game from the matrix website. How to set the resolution that the game runs at? Thanks!

Other players have had problems setting game resolution and one cause is having an older game version, so the first question is, what does your game start screen look like.

This is what the CotD v3.05 start screen should look like :

The game installer from Matrix is v2.22 and needs to be updated with the latest v3.05 update, giving you the resolution options.

CotD v3.05 is available from Matrix Support (see forum page top bar) - select 'My Page' and then look in your list of games for CotD 'Downloads', or I have a copy if needed.
