Political system change?

I'm getting bombarded by it and it kills the relation on some important leaders. What is causing it? An enemy?

Did you by chance start with, say, meritocracy and are now in the high 80s in democracy? That would explain the peoples' want.

I think from democracy (now 21) to autocracy (now 78) [:D]... Ok so that might be the reason, interesting...

Í had no idea this mechanic existed either, but found it in the Manual:
5.6.12.3. PolItICal system ChanGe

The game keeps showing us new, in dept parts everytime we look [:)]
