Playing a campaign my opponent uses the b25 constantly for naval bomb below 10000 and no matter your cap outnumbers or is in the same height always trespass and always hits the Japanese carrier setting then on fire. Is this a gamey? Never heard a twin engine level bomber scored on jap carriers

After Midway, the IJN did not often venture close to an Allied medium bomber base.

Most home rules regarding attack altitude only limit heavy bombers. Medium bombers are, and were, frequently use in anti-shipping missions. It’s the pure raisons d’être of the attack bombers, like some of the B-25 models...

Optimise yor CV TF composition to include as many DP (dual-puprose) guns as possible. As per manual p.91, your CV TF should have 15 ships max. „Task forces that consist of more than 15 ships suffer diminishing returns in effectiveness defending against air attack and fighting in surface battles „ (manual p. 91). My Allied CV TF is 2 CVs, 3 Brooklyn CLs, and 10 Mahan class DDs. The TF has a grand total of 106 DP guns. DP guns disrupt bomber targeting, so enemy bombers drop bombs and hit zero ships. You can find some Jap DDs and CAs with a good allotment of DP guns.

Well, my untrained B-17 pilots did hit the Junyo from 10k feet . . . [:D]

If you need to, set some of your fighter CAP at a lower altitude.
Seek peace but keep your gun handy.

Strange that you did not include some combat reports of this happening in your post. I doubt that you tried all the possibilities that "no matter your cap" implies, there are quite a lot

Yes, more info is needed for an answer. What are your CAP settings? Altitudes? TF elements? Yadda, yadda, yadda.
