on linux?

Post by atrog »

Hi,
in the past i have run TOAW III fairly enough on Ubuntu, via wine.

Now, I would like to taste TOAW IV, but cannot find any feedback about successful usage on linux (well, actually cannot find any info at all).

Anyone did some tests and mind to share results?
Many thanks anyway.

Best regards
Andrea

Use a recent version of Wine (>= 5.0) to avoid .NET issues. Disable sound effects otherwise the game lags badly (some Windows users experience this as well). Wine doesn't display the rotated text on the button panel correctly (a minor issue). Wine doesn't render the transparency on the hex info popup. I disable the popup to avoid the problem.
