Game ended:

[LOSS] Taifun (Allies) defeats ElvisJJonesRambo (Axis) ---> Japs get Transports task force wiped out South of Java, along with CA + Sub heavily damaged. Greek failure.

Game ends January 1942 with the early Nuremberg trials [;)].
I was lucky that EJR postponed for several turns the Pacific offensive and December 1941 Britain declared War to Japan!! Caching unaware a previously spotted invasion fleet of 3 elite SF plus BB the whole armada is destroyed South of Java . The German Greek invasion was stopped cold and the area was fast becoming a second front.
Thanks for the game!

Putting the transports at risk to the South, lazy. I had CA + Submarine as half-assed escort. That got them killed too. No way can Japs continue, game over. I had a whacky strategy ready to launch. Yes, now, I should have attacked in December 1941. Reason, I didn't, the Yanks were only 76%. No reason to hurry them into the War. Couple extra turns is signicificant for the Japs.

With the Battle of Greece going on AND you had Carriers present there, "I guessed" that Royal Navy was all in the MedFront. Royal Navy was involved in the taking of Libya, which I let go. The timing for you was absolutely perfecet. The Indians to Greece, allowed Royal Navy to sail to the Pacific. You had a nice gift :)

My laziness of having that invasion force sit there too long. Especially with the knowledge I had and the delay.

Yeah, does suck, because we had a great game going. I had some funky Jap stuff brewing.

For those who think I should continue, you're nuts. Game is over. Japs cannot continue with no DEI, lost 3-transports, CA + Submarine. Allies given DEI/Singapore in January 1942, come on man. Waste of time. I surrender, rather play new game.

Slow moving for the Axis. Went in cautiously in June 1941.

Taifun is an excellent counter-puncher, so I refused to overextend any key pieces. In the North, I was picking on only the sure things. Thus the slow moving. Neither us took any big damage in the North, thus slight edge to Russia defense.

At Dnieper, he had Forts and a another Fort set near Rostov. So I had built Artillery to work on that. No real damage, but much better forward progress, too early to tell here. Draw on that front.

Greece, I did delayed attack here, "I guessed" he was gonna attack Sicily, soon. Why? He put Artillery in Malta, so soften it up. So I did a delayed Greek attack. He counter-punched, full blown with Indians & Brits, killed lead Panzer outside of Athens. I was forced to pullback, was gonna be a drag in Greece. Advantage Allies.

Hi Marcinos1985! Nice to hear from you.
With no DAK in Africa the Germans did put together a big invasion force by May 1941 but they attacked INF 1 and Tanks 1. I was defending INF 1 and AA2. They got Kiev and Minsk and after heavy fighting Kaunas but they could not break the line Riga-Daugavlips which I defended with my best troops. We upgraded to INF2 at the same time during the Summer. In the South Dnepropetrovsk was finally taken December 1941 but Kharkov and Kherson were still firmly in our hands as well as Smolensk... I have never seen an invasion force with so many artillery units (6) but I managed to inflict some severe damage in Lithuania.

Enough talk, anyone game? I'm home watching football, will play, lets game, now's the Holiday time. Else, I'm heading to the casino :)

Anyone? Will play either side.

AND, I will agree to play to a certain date if that's what you prefer, no surrender either way.

AND, yeah, I built all the Artillery :) Use on France, remember? Thus, slight delay on the Technology for INF/TANKS which came in July 1941. Bad timing.

I'm up for a game as the Allies against your Axis again. There definitely won't be Indian Ocean Turkey Shootout this time though, I have a new naval strategy.

I even have a game set up - password is Test2

Only house rules are:
1. No diplo on majors & Bulgaria
2. No DOW on Russia before 1941.

Game on buddy. Ha! I had to look our old game up, that was over year ago, just one game. Now I remember, you certainly couldn't do worse at sea.

Good luck dude, just played turn #1. I'm really sick of going for Warsaw in one turn, I never get it the pop!

Took a break from the game, but would like to play a game now.

Work crazy busy this fall. Then got COVID for 3 + weeks. Nasty deal that stuff is. Better now thank goodness.

Let me know if anyone would like to play with ELO rules. I can play either side.

2-games have ended, mirrored set at same time, late 1943

[WIN] ElvisJJonesRambo (Axis) defeats Ktonos (Allies) ---> Naval dominance in the Atlantic mixed with Spanish Gambit
[WIN] ElvisJJonesRambo (Allies) defeats Ktonos (Axis) ---> Yanks got hammered in Pacific, decided to all-in dangerous landing in France, got lucky 1943

My opponent terminated the game in January 1940. He objected to Italy's early entry to the war as being unhistorical.

Probably should count as a void game.

Any other takers for an ELO game?

HamburgerMeat (Axis) vs Fafnir (Allies)

Axis victory

Great game from my opponent. By far the best tactical level play I've seen.

Could you provide more detail on how the game went? This is a game that I would love to see in an AAR thread.
