Named pilots in the pools do not train there. Much more detail is found in the manual, the Pilot Management Addendum found on your hard disk, and the main AE forum.

OK Thanks for both replies. I've played a long time, but am not much on forums. I'll remember to ask further questions like this in the correct place. I'm well aware of pilot management, I just wondered yesterday if pilots in reserve got better while sitting there. I suppose you could say they do train since they don't get any worse. Regards
