Hi,
It seems the Italian and now Egyptian FREMM have the wrong main AAW radar... it was originally planned I think with the EMPAR, but most if not all now have the MFRA. It is AESA (active) vs passive phased array and has much longer range and some BMD tracking capabilities. Can we change the DB to reflect this... the EMPAR is 80nm and it's likely the MFRA is 200 or more (Some say 400 km).

Also, the Egyptian navy just took delivery of a FREMM (Bergamini) frigate from Italy... new units originally destined for the Italian navy. They have another new former IT Navy unit coming as well. They are fit out very similar to the Italian GP FREMM. They also have a French ASW version.
Last is the Moroccan FREMM and ASW French version.

Hey just looking at this. The mouse tail TASS is listed in the db items. Is there an upgrade or something? Are you using the latest db version?

Not sure if this has been brought up but it would greatly help to have it fixed. When loading a saved game or scenario, it's great that you can "sort" by date, name... etc. However, at the momemnt, DATE does not work. My saved 2021 game is listed about #20... well behind some 2020 saves.

Also, it'd be a great help to have this sort system also allow selection of "only unplayed games in the last XX Months". This would allow me to avoid doing repeats! I am having a hard time tracking all this!

Last, the "merge range symbols" and "Show non-friendly range symbols" options are great, but they are NOT rememberd.... ever! It would be great to have these saved in my profile or at least saved at shutdown... Would save me a lot of time. Really, just about everything in the "GAME" menu dropdown should be saved on closing a scenario or by saving it in the "my profile" under options> Map.

Possibly others may disagree... but I'd love this.

Thanks,

John

You are right, but not completely. TASS present only for #138 and #386. Other submarine records is lack TASS.

Hi,
This sounds like a feature request so perhaps post on the above thread so the Devs don't miss it.

EDIT: IGNORE the below query! Looks like this site shows definitively the CAMM onboard Type 23 in a 32 cell configuration at 1:1. Done as far as I can see. http://www.seaforces.org/wpnsys/SURFACE ... r-CAMM.htm

Just looking at the Brit Type 23 Duke class with updated VLS (CAMM) circa 2017 and later. They have (had) 32 VLS cells for the older Sea Wolf which were then converted to CAMM capable cells. I have read it was to be a 1:1 VLS swap from Sea Wolf to Sea Ceptor. I've also seen a different version of install (See links below). A bit more than half the cells will be used to install all the hardare into (computers... power etc) and the last 12 to take CAMM, but the CAMM's are Quad packed in this setup... so only 12 cells now... and 48 CAMM. Does anyone know what is ACTUALLY happening as the type 23 upgrade to CAMM? This would be nice to fix if indeed it is actually being done. I think it's being done 1:1 but just wanted to check as some info indicates otherwise.
