No asset for "deep core mining"?

Hi,

I have fully researched "deep core mining" several turns ago, but I don't see any "deep core" mining asset that I can build anywhere. My planet is geologically active. Is it a bug?

I am on the latest beta.

It gives you the Deep Core Gas Extractor. For whatever reason, it's found under the Industry category.
Not affiliated with Slitherine. They added it to my name when they merged the Slitherine and Matrix account systems.

I'm sad we don't get to drill gigantic boreholes through the planet's crust ala SMAC. I was very excited when I saw Deep Core Mining...
