The game certainly APPEARS to be afoot in the North Pacific and Alaska as a powerful Japanese CTF appears and launches multiple small strikes and sweeps near and over the mainland US of A.

Fighter Sweeps occur over Bremerton and Seattle as three strikes attack targets of opportunity in the area.

Sent the note to my Noble Opponent this morning that he is OFFICIALLY becoming annoying with troop movements, aircraft deployment, and just about any other facet one can imagine in BURMA.

I, ever so politely, ask my opponent to abandon his foolish attempts at defense in Myitkyina, Warazup, Chittagong, and Lashio. Please move away or FACE THE WHIRLWIND!

Glad you noticed my effort to skip bomb into your hanger decks.
In this no rules game, I am concerned about the early IJN capabilities.
As I stated upthread, IJN does not belong near the west coast.
Current Low Naval average is about 45, but will get better quicker with live target practice. So thanks John.

But the important part is:

Does it get to return in the same condition that it went in?[&:]

Probably NOT!!! But could be an invasion force heated to Bella Bella using the KB to distract my air. That would turn into great training target for my LBA.

In other exciting news!!! Seems the hit rate is 9 out of 27 with no CAP(25%).

With marginal CAP we get no hits. But that will change as time goes by.

Most american training BMR sqn are not releasing any pilots until the bombing value is in the 50's with low Nav and Search both in the 40's. As I get more pilots I will raise the standard.

Those bombers training on Low Naval attack do not need a range 6 setting ...

IDk, IIRC it could be a 0 range. Several years ago I discovered a training setting that increases 3 skill columns, but i dont remember it now.

Range 0 to keep fatigue down, height at 1k feet except for regular naval and ground bombing.
Seek peace but keep your gun handy.

LowN or LowG can increase that skill plus Strafe and Defensive. That is only apparent when those skills are all quite low. The gains get pretty spotty later.

What is the use for low ground? bombing under 2000 feet. I guess the b17 gets to use the 10x.5cal guns on ground troops. I guess I need a refresher on airplane altitude commands. Does anyone have a link?
