Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: The German-Soviet War 1941-1945 is a turn-based World War II strategy game stretching across the entire Eastern Front. Gamers can engage in an epic campaign, including division-sized battles with realistic and historical terrain, weather, orders of battle, logistics and combat results.

This expansion to the award-winning War in the East comes with a wide array of later war scenarios ranging from short but intense 6 turn bouts like the Battle for Kharkov (1942) to immense 37-turn engagements taking place across multiple nations like Drama on the Danube (Summer 1944 – Spring 1945).

12.06 request

Post by CapAndGown »

Could someone who has 12.06 installed please check their German rail capacity to see if there is a split between reserved and non-reserved rail displayed? In 12.05 I distinctly remember there being a split, i.e. reserved/non-reserved displayed in the upper right. Now it is not there and I am not sure when it went away. I don't remember if it went away right after I installed 12.06, or it disappeared later.

I am using 12.06. The German rail reservation percentage is still there, at the bottom left of the production screen.

That's not what I'm asking about. I want to know about the rail cap numbers:

Axis hasn't ever had a split? It wouldn't make sense to, as the non-reserve rail is the amount maximally used for supply/fuel/resources. Reserve rail is set aside for unit transport, and that is the amount you see. Any carryover non-reserve rail is added to the reserve amount, but 12.06 has made it such that you probably will not have any leftover if you are using a fair amount of level bombers.
