What do these numbers and AD in red mean?

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

The second number is the total number of air directives you've created/saved for this AHQ, including inactive ones (max is 10).

The first number is the number of air directives of the type you've selected.

So if you have Strategic Bombing selected and Strategic Air Force has one strategic bombing AD and a recon AD, it will show "1/2".

The Wehrmacht that set out to conquer Russia in 1941 was a poor army with strictly limited resources.

Happy to help. WiTW and WiTE are incredibly complex (and I'm a long time Advanced Squad Leader player) but well worth the time to learn. Just unbelievably fun games to play.
