Time frame of the air and ground game?

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

Time frame of the air and ground game?

Post by Novaliz »

I'm a little confused. In the Air Round, things happen that affect the whole week. In the ground round, things also happen that affect the whole week. At the beginning of my ground round, all things of the week that concern the air force have already happened and already influence the strength etc. of the ground round. Or do I get it wrong: D

You got that right, it's an abstraction or simplification. Given the need for weeklong turns (in order to allow armored thrusts and penetration to be significant in distance), I assume there was no way to interweave air and ground execution.
