When I assign Ground Suport to ArmyHQ, will every CorpseHQ get Ground Support.

yes.

Works at higher levels too, so if you allocate a GS to say SHAEF then all the formations that are in that command chain can draw off it if needed.

basically allocation to corps is great if you know where you'll need it and want to ensure that your capacity is not used up on secondary battles. Higher up the chain you gain flexibility but may then find its harder to hit really hard where you want

I believe it's also true that if you assign GS support from one air HQ to a corps HQ, for example, and assign a GS AS from a different air HQ to the army or higher-level, that the latter air HQ won't provide GS to the corps units designated in the first AD I mentioned?

Loki - can you confirm if that's true or not?

yes thats right, so if you have say US 9 AAF running GS to SHAEF and the British tactical air supporting XXX Corps then XXX Corps can't draw on the SHAEF allocation
