Took the plunge and brought Black Sea today after trying the demo for a week along with the Shock Force 2 and the Road to Rome demo as well.I must say impressed, really impressed that Battlefront and Matrix/Slitherine have joined up to release these games because from purchase to install and no DRM etc with the option of steam key as well, this a godsend giving us options for installs with future computer upgrades etc. I chose this over Shock Force 2 because the conflict and setting appealed to me more and the modern equipment with its long range sight and accuracy of long range weapons, combined with Laser targeting and electronic jaming give this title a whole new tactical depth.
The maps are goregeous and the equipment on all sides is interesting and just really cool to look at. The map editor is giving me ideas about the Russians on a sight seeing adventure of Germany via Fulda Gap [:D]. Best purchase for me in years and looking forward to future releases.
