Air Fight Graphic Discrepancy?
WAW: Air Battle over Britain: You see Air Casualties Numbers Displayed
WW1: Air Battle over Britain: You don't see Air Casualties Numbers Displayed just Explosions
What am I missing here? Is there a Fog of War difference between the games or something?

This is probably tied into your animation settings. Likely you have 'Quick Animation' or similar enabled in WWI whereas in WWII you do not.

This is probably tied into your animation settings. Likely you have 'Quick Animation' or similar enabled in WWI whereas in WWII you do not.

Hi Hubert I checked and I have Quick Animations turned off in all games. For some reason in the WW1 game if an air unit is in FOW you do not see the casualty numbers scroll.
On that note is it possible to slow down the casualty number animation even more? Sometimes even when fast animation is turned off the numbers go by so quickly I still miss them...

Very odd as I'm unable to repeat this and the engine handling this part should be the same for both games, do you have a saved turn you could send me so I could take a look?

Thanks Hubert I am noticing it in my MP game so maybe it is MP only? Not sure how to send a MP save? I just rarely see my opponents air casualties when they are in FOW. It goes by very fast too even with quick animations turned off...

I just tried this for a WWI PBEM++ test game and with 'Quick Animation' disabled, I saw the air casualties both when I was attacking, as well as during the replay on the opponents turn.
Not sure why this isn't happening for you and I'm unfortunately not able to repeat it on my end to be able to dig into it further.

I have seen this too with FoG on and replay animation speed off, but I also have been seeing this lately within my turn when doing air attacks. I seem to remember in earlier versions you could always see the results of ALL your air attacks even with FoG on. I thought maybe it was subtly changed to more reflect FoG and was just WAD...or, I have a faulty memory, which is very possible haha.
Now I don't know what is intended actually, but not seeing all the results of your aerial bombing or dogfights with FoG on seems realistic...if a bit annoying. But then, like they would say at the German aerodrome: "vee needz confirmationz on deez extra killz". [:D]

Hi Hubert I am seeing this in my WAW game too. It is not every time though and seems to be only when the air enemy is in FOW. I hear the explosions but I see no casualties...Maybe it is only during air escort?
