AC replacements

Do we get to choose which sqd gets upgraded to which aircraft? Or do we have to patiently wait for AI to upgrade aircraft. If there is enough of the other aircraft, I should be able to upgrade it right? Therefore is there an upgrade to ---- button. I dont want to see 300 zeros in my pool and not being able to upgrade my sqd of Type 96 fighters.

being able to upgrade or downgrade airframes based on available supply is on the wish list.
