Entrenching after impromptu attack - bug or not?

It doesn't seem to be intentional and definitely wasn't on our radar, but since it has been this way from the beginning and since we could classify them as having the option to entrench in an emergency after having typically taken losses from the surprise encounter, we'll just call it a feature for now unless it becomes a true concern.
