Player's Handbook?

Post by sven6345789 »

Hi, i always liked the Player's Handbook for WitW a lot.

1) Will reading it be any help preparing you for WitE2?

2) Will there be a similar Player's Handbook for WitE2?

3) What are some of the more important fundamental changes compared to WitW?

1 - yes, in that WiTE2 is a descendent of WiTW and a number of concepts from the logistics and air systems are in WiTE2 - but significantly updated. But this is not WiTW goes east, it is a new game with familiar features

2 - not in the direct sense but a lot of care has gone into the documentation and how to guide players who are new through the complexities

3 - part of this process is a sequence of tables picking up the headline differences from both WiTE1 and WiTW

I'd suggest having a read of Red Lancer's showcases, they are designed to highlight the new stuff, so if you look at the one on the air war it'll give you some idea how different WiTE2 is in its approach to WiTW. Other big differences are the logistics system, the entire UI and a lot of more subtle stuff.
