Dear Ronnie, any plans to continue this fascinating AAR?
I have to say, I was following your AAR with huge interest, learning something at each instalment. I wish, you would continue.
I also admire your ability and determination to improve and develop your reporting skills and tools very much. Do you include your latest excel templates used in AAR as extra sheets in your combat calculator?

Thanks! I would say that I've been more neglecting this AAR than having abandoned it. I personally like to see things that I start through to the end as long as it makes sense. And that would include this AAR. As long as there is interest, and it appears that at least there's interest from you, I'll commit to continue this AAR (and game) at a priority below and on an non interference basis with my game and AAR with Jason.ORIGINAL: Angeldust2

My AAR excel spreadsheet is separate from my excel 2D10 calculator. It works better that way because I do offer my 2D10 calculator for download. Post 38 currently contains the link to the download of the latest version.
By the way, I'd be happy to offer up my excel based AAR spreadsheet template to anyone who likes.

Add me to the list as well

RE: By the Numbers: Another Solo Global War AAR
Actually started it back up. When I left off over two months ago it was turn 18 (Jul/Aug 1942) at the start of allied impulse #3. Had to look over the map and read through my combat logs what had happened so far in the turn. The first two impulses were a bit bloody. As the allies on impulse #3, I'm making some bold but not reckless moves. Not sure two months ago I would have been so bold but either the two month layoff or my current competitive game with Jason has possibly made me bolder.ORIGINAL: anarchyintheuk

Have picked this game back up and have played through 1 1/2 impulses now. It's interesting after a 2 month layoff. I had forgotten how really back shape the Soviet Union in Europe was in. Germany just aligned Turkey and the Wehrmacht in the north is racing the sad remnants of once mighty Red Army to the Urals. Only on axis impulse 4 (Turn 18, Jul/Aug 1942) so it'll be a bit before I get to the end of the turn reports. But, just wanted to let those of you who are following that I am making progress.

FYI ... for those of few of you who might be wondering about this one ... I'm making slow progress and have made it the impulse 7 of the Jul/Aug 1942 turn. It's just that I've made this solo-game and AAR lower priority than my competitive game and AAR with Jason. But I'm still chugging alone with this one.ORIGINAL: rkr1958
