Yes, you did mention tea, shunwick. May I offer you a cup?

I've just made some bacon and cheese toasties. Should I bring them along?
Best wishes,

I love the smell of TOAW in the morning...

A good day to relax and enjoy a cup with a sweet . . . [:D]
But I just had to move my cup away from my sweet . . . [:@]
For some reason, she is a little hyper this morning and wants to put her nose into my tea . . . [:@]

Lately I've been drinking tea to dinner (or is it supper). To most meals actually. Usually black, with no sugar.

Do you guys drink the same sort of tea regardless of what you have to the tea?

No, it depends upon the mood that I am in. Although a good tea about now is an excellent idea. [:)]

Yes. There is only one type of tea (for me). I buy PG Tips (or similar, if unavailable) which I understand is a black tea. I don't have any time for fancy schmancy herbal teas and the like. A dash of milk and no sugar served in a big phat mug is my weapon of choice.
I drink this all day long - I love the stuff, although I don't tend to drink with food - I don't drink any beverage with food.
When I don't drink tea I get a headache. So when abroad we always have to make sure we have access to at least one cup of tea (preferably 2-3) before heading out to wherever.

That herbal stuff is technically a tissane, not a tea. Some of it is pretty good and can help with some issues. Then there are some flavors of tea with other things like Earl Grey, Chai . . .

PG Tips is what I get. The regular grocery stores started carrying it. It's all I will drink at this point. Brands like Lipton and others give me acid or something. Hard to drink them.

Anybody fancy a cup of tea? I'm just heading into the kitchen to make myself one, so shout out if you would like me to include you in the round.

RE: Lets talk tea... again.
I always drink black tea made using tea bags and water from a hot water tap on my sink (kettles are for barbarians!). I then add milk, sometimes oatmilk, to my tea, ALWAYS. Doesn't matter what variety of black tea(breakfast, earl grey, etc.), I use milk. Tea without milk is an atrocious affront to the senses. That is, unless we're talking green tea or the various other herbal teas of Asia. As above, no sugar, ever.
RE: Lets talk tea... again.
Oats do not make milk.
Diet just means no sugar. Artificial sweeteners may be extremely bad for ones health - especially when eaten with digestible carbohydrates.

Black tea with no sugar. Just tiny drops of lemon sometimes. In Egypt they sometimes go with milk. Maybe that's because of British Empire tradition.
Glass is also important to keep it hot. No milk in Turkish coffee and tea.

Mmmm. I love drinking a hot mug of tea with a generous slug of oat milk as a late afternoon or post-dinner treat. [8D]
