Halloween in France...No Trick & No Treat.

Post by Orzel Bialy »

Coming Next Week!

Oct. 31, 1944

An American recon unit has just pulled into a small, shattered French farming village just to the east of Nancy and beings to get ready to hunker down for the night.
All day long they have been on constant patrol of the main roadway...attempting to prevent any retreating German units from having too easy of a time withdrawing back towards the Fatherland.
As fog rolls up from the riverbed...and creeps through the silent, gloomy ochards and out onto some of the village streets...some of the men remark that it's a perfect Halloween setting as they sit among the ruins of village buildings.
A couple more men move over to check out the abandoned Panther tank that sits in the middle of the town...and joke how it dwarfs the recon units Stuart light tank.
As they marvel at the German panzer...one soldier comes flying out of the doorway of a building that the CO is using as a HQ.
"We have company coming!" he yells holding his helmet with one hand as he jumps through piles of rubble. "Everyone to the river bank now!"

I'd also like to test this one, as Frolois where I live is only a few minutes away from Nancy.

Yes, I am really interested in testing your scenario.
I am away during the week for my job and can only come back to SPWaW on week-ends.

Orzel,
I've got a little time on my hands for a couple of days if you want another tester.
