I want a campaign which will be variable and can be played at any rank.

I'd like my campaigns to start at Hard and progress in difficulty through Deadly and on into Ludicrous. :)

Also, like Larkin said, variable ones would be cool, where the difficulty matches your squad's prowess.
We sometimes catch a window
A glimpse of what's beyond
Was it just imagination
Stringing us along?
More things than are dreamed about
Unseen and unexplained
We suspend our disbelief
And we are entertained

Are we voting on rank or difficulty? (not the same thing since a rookie campain can be difficult)

Rank-wise I don't really care, maybe something above rookie since we already have 2 of those. Difficulty: Hard overall, with individual maps within the campain varying some.

So far the hardest missions in general for me have been where you have to 'protect' someone, but they are also some of the most fun since you REALLY have to change up tactics to pull these off.

Deadly and ludicrious are fun too... as long as it's possible to pull them off and you use the 'redo' flag/trigger thingie liberally. (you know.. where you get a do-over if you fail and all your crispy jocks are brought back)

If you ask me, the low ranks are more challenging by default, since often the terrain deals me more damage than the enemy titans do. I managed to lose my team leader on the first level of Deep Core. Don't ask.

I want Missions/Campaigns that are....

Like the Metaborlator (spelling is probably incorrect) missions. I'm only on the 3rd mission of that campaign, but the variation of goals and the appearance of multiple waves of enemies is very refreshing. The missions in first two campaigns seemed to be too straight forward. e.g. kill all the enemies they are headed right for you or sometimes you can try to run through them.

Not terminated early... Personally I don't like a mission that will end when I get a single titan to hex xx/yy even though I have 4 other titans that are getting the **** beat out of them. Magically it's all ok because one unit entered xx/yy. Some poeple do like this kind of challenge, but it just seems unrealistic to me. One example would be one of the missions in Metaborlator that ends immediately when you kill a specific enemy titan. The rest of my squad was in shambles when that happened, and I was just about to have to go back to a previous save and retry when a lucky shot killed the magical titan and then "VICTORY". It didn't feel like a victory. I imagine that this was the only way to fit the limits of the code within the story, but I just wanted to give a specific example.

MORE SINGLE PLAYER MISSIONS, PLEASE! I only have 1 (the one that came with the game), I think that all the other missions that have been made available for download are either multiplayer maps or campaigns. I'd like a few missions that I could play in-between the campaign missions.

... Just some thoughts I have been sitting on for a while ...

Thanks!

There should be more than 1 mission available.

Sorry about that.... I must be loosing my mind. I'm sure that in the past when I selected the missions that the only one listed was "Neutron_Device". However based on your comments I went to look again and now I see 4 missions, the above and Agrams_Fortress, The_Rock, and Thorgrims_Lair. I tried several combinations (diffferent squads) to see if I could recreate what I saw before, but no luck....

So... NEVERMIND and Thanks for straightening me out on that.

Not that I still wouldn't like to see more ;)

I'm with Larkin - any rank varible campaigns are the most fun for me, although I have yet to try the harder campaigns, so maybe...
