SCEN - Momote Airfield - 1944 (Pacific)

I have posted a small new SPWAWH2Hfr scenario to the WarfareHQ SP Scenario Archives. This is my first attempt in several years to do a scenario from scratch. I encourage everyone to try it out and let me know what you think. It is still in testing and depending on the interest I may expand on this theme and string togther a campaign.

Description: It is late February 1944 and the invasion of the Admiralty Islands has begun. You and your men were the first to land. You are in command of G Troop, 2nd Squadron, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division! Your landing on Los Negros Island has met no opposition so far. Now that you and your troops are all ashore it is time to move inland and seek out the enemy. Your mission is to seize the Momote Airfield and surrounding area and defend it until the rest of your Squadron lands within the next hour or so. As you advance, 2nd Squadron Headquarters will notify you of any additional objectives that will need to be taken. Be careful, the enemy is out there, and as you take more ground you are sure to run into him.
