Problem with MCLV

I just downloaded the Lost Victories MC for the first time. I'm using SPWAW version 7.1 (which works fine).

I cannot get the mega campaign to show up when I go to the mega campaign screen -- nothing shows up -- I'm not even sure what shows up there since this is my first MC and it is not loading.

Funny thing number one: MC Screen says version 7.0 when it comes up although nothing shows up there.

Another Funny thing -- when I extracted the MC, the extractor said I could not move/copy files #3, line 3 -- and line six -- and line 9. Weird. I extracted it all twice and got the same exact problem twice.

Anyway, the MC does not show up when I try to access it through 7.1.

Anyone have any ideas?

Check the installation paths. Also, browse these forums a bit. This topic is now a regular item on boards..you'd get better and more detailed advice that way.

Is there a sticky thread that explains what the download target location should be??? I've been looking for one but have yet to find it. It seems like this should be listed in a sticky thread or a FAQ somewhere -- and it probably is, I just can't find it.

I'd downloaded the material three times and tried different download locations. I get the same exact messages every time

Could not move files #3 line 3
could not copy file #3 line 6
could not copy file #3 line 9

It seems like it's looking in a certain directory for info and it's not finding it. I just can't seem to figure out which directory it is looking for.

There used to be a sticky but it evidently got removed. I can't do a search and find the post but I know it's there. Go to the Steel Panthers Megacampaign folder. Set the time switch at the bottom to show posts from the last year. It's on about the 4th or 5th page. Title is "Newbie's Guide to MC Installation" I co-authored it before the advent of downloadable MC's but the paths are correct. I think it will fix you up. I have tried to do a search for this post there and it says it's not there but it is.
