Are there new battle sounds with mega campaign?

There will be new graphics and other stuff in the newest Mega Campaign, Screaming Eagles. No new sounds.

You might want to look in your snd directory. There are a couple of sounds there that have no assignment. You can use those to replace some existing sounds in the game.

But the sound files are pretty much done, except for one. There is one there that I love. You will hear it in the MC. It is the "bayonet attack" sound.

I can't reveal too much, but you'll have some cool bayonet charges in MC-Se such as Cole's charge at Carentan or Major Ewell's bayonet fight at Dead Man's corner or the night patrol at the Moder River.

Finally, hand to hand fighting in SPWAW. I like it!

Since you are now gifted with loads more free time (lol) how about putting together another nice Pacific scenario with bayonet armed Japanese? As tough as they already are, the very thought of a Banzai charge with bayonets (swords?) in slot 1, scares the living daylights out of me. But **** you'd have done something if you won.

Excellent idea, Jim. I may modify the Green Steel battles, especially the ones with Japanese attackers to include this.

The massive suicide charge of the Japanese on Attu Island would work well for this.
