Raoul Island would be nice for a size 2 AF with Betty/Nells and Air HQ to make the trip to NZ more hazardous. The can almost reach the southern edge of the map.

Hmmm...I see opportunity there.[;)]

The 4th division could be in Reserve mode. But probably not as your opponent seems to want as much firepower shooting as is possible.

We are keeping them below 200 raw AV...

Queen Elizabeth is one day from Adelaide with a third of a division...

He really hasn’t touched the Philippines. Are you concentrating the PA units which start in the outlying islands, by flying them with Catalinas ?

I have a little bit, but not much.

But, I also flew some bombers into Clark and I am now pondering how to hit Hong Kong.

Finished the turn...

Our Surprise in Perth area is getting into position...several days to get everyone in place to accomplish this.

Left our dive bombers on attack...which could be a mistake...

Neat things coming up: another convoy with a dozen Matildas, and 25# in a few days. The TOE for Australian armor upgrades to be Matilda heavy in two weeks, about the same time another fleet carrier shows up.

Building up mines at Chittagong...

First American Base forces arriving in India. Well, one was already here, but now 8-9 more are showing up.

I continue to build up the Line Islands, Palmyra, Johnston, to Rapa in the far south. Our convoy system is developing nicely:

Fuel from Canada to Cape Town.

Supplies from UK to Cape Town.

Supplies/Fuel from East Coast to Panama Canal.

Supplies/Fuel from Cristobal to Port Stanley

Supplies/Fuel from Balboa to Rapa & New Zealand

Supplies/Fuel from NZ to Tasmania

Supplies/Fuel from Cape Town to Queensland/Adelaide.

Supplies/Fuel from Abadan to Socotra/Mombassa/Cape Town and India

Supplies/Fuel to Pearl from West Coast

Supplies/Fuel to Alaska from West Coast...Prince Rupert

Will add Port Stanley supplying New Zealand shortly.

Don't think he'll go for NZ

I have a Marine Tank Regiment there, and one American Base Force...but also a couple of squadrons of planes. Airacobras, Float planes, etc. Nothing serious.

Unfortunately, the Chinese can't get away, nor hold for another day. But they bought several days time...

Japan continues to rack up impressive ops losses. Perhaps with a little help from us.[;)]

The power of Allied artillery...almost all 105mm howitzers. 6th Tank is missing, 8th Tank had a dozen disabled vehicles and another destroyed today to dive-bombers.

Medals to the defenders of Bandung. Now, I may be missing something, but wouldn't a two or three day hiatus followed by another shock attack do it? With one squadron of Betties keeping the forts down? Anyway, good work there and in getting some supplies to the PI.

Cheers,

Correct, Captain! But Japan is a harsh task master in this game driving his forces very hard...unfortunately, I know from experience that Java is a nice base for r&r...so the troops will be headed for either Australia/Singapore/Balikpapen/Miri or Luzon.

I suspect he will attack again on the morrow.

Okay...Luzon has 42k supply. I have not built forts or taken reinforcements with any of the units here.

I have three squadrons of Heavy Bombers at Clark, sitting. Another six squadrons at Calcutta repairing from rail shipment. There is no DL on Clark, and I am hoping to get them all here for one big raid on a good target...but getting recon is darn difficult. I got a point of DK on both Saigon and Cam Ranh Bay, shooting for Hong Kong today.

Do you intend to hit ships in the repair yard, or the industry ? If you expect to find ships, he probably has moved AA units to protect them, if not fighters. And if you recon the base suddenly, you run the risk of him moving a couple of squadrons to protect the base.

DK = Don't Know what is there because the DL is too low? [;)]
