Much better but still a problem. After this attack:
Carrier Fleet: 5
AAA Gun Losses: 2
So I was expecting to have 3 steps remaining for the CV planes on the Courageous CV group.

You don't trust me, do you? I don't blame you. If there is to be a brave new world, our generation is going to have the hardest time living in it.
But instead there is only 1 step lost... Still something to solve.

All right, I have found the problem. I am taking pictures of the full sequence.

I have the latest beta for sure. First carrier strike done. Carrier based planes of the Ark Royal have lost 5 steps.

Confirmed by clicking on the Ark Royal naval stack. Can you center the number 5 please?

Now and this is the bug, I am ending the turn. Opening the Ark Royal naval stack next turn, the carrier based planes are back to 10 steps... Looks like they are repairing at sea!!! [:D]

Same thing for the Courageous naval stack. The carrier based planes are also back to 10 steps... They are also repairing at sea!!!

And going for 5 to 10 steps repaired in just one turn, I don't think I have seen something that fast for any other air / land / sea units...

Based on my first test where the Courageous CV group has lost:
Carrier Fleet: 5
AAA Gun Losses: 2
It seems the CV planes are gaining (9 - (10 - 7)) = 6 steps at sea each turn.

In February 1942, the Fairey Swordfish of the No 825 squadron were all shot down by FW190A while trying to attack the Scharnhorst and the Gneisenau.
Remains the problem of carrier based planes repairing at sea.
But looking forward to have this correction in the Pacific. [:)]

I think it is correct that CVs are reinforced at sea, at least being so close to Uk, they do not really repair the ship (this must be done in port), they receive new aircraft to replace the aircraft fallen in combat.
What seems wrong to me is that these new planes are free, at no cost to the allies.
