The first wave of French and UK forces arrive in Egypt....more are on their way. Australian forces have all been diverted to this AO. Seems the Ottomans are at 87% mobilization.

When I see the Montenegrin Gambit coming next time...I will authorize the Sultan Osman dreadnought to be sent on to the Sultan forthwith...this will delay the Ottoman Empire's entry into the War so we can be more than ready to take Palestine.

....and besides, I can just sink it then.

That's an interesting plan I tried with the old game. Giving the sultan osman to OE also means Russia will get the Dardanelles trade 30 MPPs longer. It also makes OE entry time less predictable.
Sultan osman in OE hands is indeed a big fat floating NM piggy bank for Entente though it can make things a bit troublesome [:D].

Not really sure how I feel about that Sultan Osman idea. It's not really because of the DN, but sacrificing 2000 Russian NM in the above situation?
And factoring in the polish trigger hex, Bulgaria is at 100% + Serbia will die in 2 turns at most. This results in a complete inner line + a lot of free troops for CP. While the above is sure to make a dent into the OE, CP will be quick to stop and reverse that.
Btw does declaring war on OE have any penalties for the Entente?

This conludes our little test. Now that I think of it, what do I do with the polish fortresses? It is turn 5 now, so arty 1 is half a dozend turns away unless I get a breakthrough. Have to admit I did not really plan that far.
On the balkans Bulgaria is 1 turn away and Serbia should be dead in no more than 2. If I hurry, I think I'd be able to use its boost to take Minsk before the bad weather season. The Turks however are bound to take quite the hit.
Btw my fleet is only a bit of the Danish coast. I planned to hit the blockade with the boost from Serbia.

Well, half the Russian army got away into the swamp in this one, which was not really satisfying. So I devised a 1.04 Version of the all east M-gambit which should be faaar more deadly than the one I used on OldCrow. Test subject wanted, veteran Entente player prefered!
